The University of Professional Studies, Accra was founded in 1965 and has six schools namely; UPSA Law School, School of Graduate Studies, Institute of Professional Studies, Distance learning school, Evening School and the Weekend School. UPSA also has four faculties; Accounting and Finance, Management Studies, I.T. & Communication Studies and the Office of Doctoral Programmes. Their schools and faculties offer students boundless opportunities to explore and pursue their passions and collaborate on solving complex industry problems.
General entry requirements into UPSA are; WASSCE applicants must have passes (i.e., A1-D7) in three core subjects in addition to passes (i.e., A1-D7) in any three elective subjects. SSSCE/GBCE applicants must have at least credit passes (i.e., grade A-D) in three core subjects in addition to credit passes in any three elective subjects. American High School Grade 12 with at least a Final Grade Point of 3.0 or General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE)/ Cambridge GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level WASSCE and SSSCE/GBCE applicants must have at least credit passes (i.e., grade A1-C6 and grade A-D respectively) in three core subjects in addition to any three elective subjects.

Applicants who possess any of the following can apply:
· A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/institution in relevant discipline with;
1. a second class lower or better
2. a third class, however such applicants will be required to go through screening and selection interview to ascertain their suitability for admission
· Relevant recognized full professional qualification such as ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CIM, CPA, ICSA and CIB.
· International applicants with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related fields established by NAB. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.

Please, can we have the grades cut off point . For all course
I contacted the university but they said they don’t have specific cutoff points for each programme. That is why I couldn’t state it.They only use the general cutoff point of 36 for WASSCE applicants.
So please if you fail only science can you do a degree course at UPSA
That depends on your overall aggregate which should not be above 36. Generally, universities do not accept fail, that is E8 or F9.
