    1. I contacted the university but they said they don’t have specific cutoff points for each programme. That is why I couldn’t state it.They only use the general cutoff point of 36 for WASSCE applicants.

        1. That depends on your overall aggregate which should not be above 36. Generally, universities do not accept fail, that is E8 or F9.

      1. English=B3
        Science=A1
        Maths=B3
        Social Studies=A1
        Economics=B3
        Government=A1
        Twi=B3
        CRS=C4
        Plz can l do B.S business administration without elective maths base on my result

        1. UPSA does not give specific cutoff points for each programme, but your grades are good so you may gain admission.

    1. No. D7 is not acceptable and you cannot be given accounting if you studied agric in shs.

    1. generally the university does not accept D7 and E8. You may have to rewrite those papers.

  1. Hi a friend of mine had E8 in economics and still got admission to UCC.
    I had d7 in economics can’t I get admission to UPSA?

    1. That is interesting. It also depends on your overall aggregate. If your best six (three core, three electives) are very good then you may get admission.

    1. Yes, you’ll gain admission but that also depends on your overall aggregate and the competition among the applicants.

  2. I passed all the subjects except science that I had d7,will I get ICT course in upsa,specifically not diploma

    1. That depends on your overall aggregate. It is best to rewrite science to improve your chances of gaining admission.

  3. Please I had C6 in core maths but when I checked the cutoff point of BSC in information technology they said you are supposed to get B3 in core maths before you would be admitted to offer the course… So I want to know if I can still off ICT WITH C6

    1. You can apply but it depends on the competition. If a lot of students with B3 or better in core math apply, then you may not get admission.

  4. So as a science student at SHS when you apply for university forms to offer BSC. Information Technology would they use inter-science or social as one of the top scores

  5. Please want to ask that if you had E8 in mathematics but the rest of the subjects are ok, can you gain admission to upsa?

    1. you can offer any course depending on your programme but you will improve your chances if you re-write the economics.

  6. Please I had F9 in Maths and science and I want to offer bachelor of art cover but overall aggregate is not up to 36 will I be admitted

    1. NO please, its best to re-write Maths and science and your overall aggregate should not be more than 36.

      1. Please my overall is 36 exactly and Best six is 23 will I get admission to study real estate development although I studied Agric in SHS

        1. Honestly I can’t tell. The only information UPSA has made available is that your total aggregate should not be more than 36.

  7. Social=d7

    Math=C6

    Please can I offer a course in upsa..?

      1. Mathematics-C6
        Social studies D7
        English language-C6
        Science-D7
        Economics-C6
        History-C6
        Twi-B3
        Government C6
        Aggregate 35
        W
        Please can I gain admission

        1. The cutoff point is 36 so you can apply but it’s unlikely you’ll gain admission due to its competitiveness.
