To apply for the certificate program, one must purchase a form of GHC 320, attach 2 passport pictures, a typed essay indicating why one wants to enroll with the school, and a copy of one’s BECE certificate. Prospective students must obtain a minimum of D7 in all core subjects. Students who got E8 or F9 in the core subjects can write an access course with the school.
The school offers several courses which are suitable for all work or school schedules. Short courses that last for six months are about GHC 7,200, four monthly courses are about GHC 6,300 and two monthly courses are about GHC 4,500. The diploma (2 years) or degree (4 years) program costs USD 3,000 (GHC 36,750) a year.
Obtaining a certificate or diploma at JCCD Design Institute is about USD 1,050 (GHC 13,500) per semester for Ghanaian students and USD 1,200 for foreign students. The access course is about GHC 350 for both local and international students.
