Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a public University of Ghana that focuses on science and technology.

The University of Cape Coast was established in October, 1962 as a University College and attained the status of a full and independent University on October 1, 1971. It is a public collegiate university located in the historic town of Cape Coast.
