Ho Technical University (HTU) started as a Technical Institute in 1968, the Institute then became a Polytechnic and in 2016 it became a university and gained the mandate to award degrees, diplomas, certificates and other qualifications to the highest level in Engineering, Science and Technology-based disciplines, Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Applied Arts and related disciplines.

Admission Requirements for HTU for WASSCE/SSSCE students are credits passes (WASSCE: A1-C6/ SSSCE A-D) in three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science) and credits in three elective subjects with an aggregate of 24 or better. For bachelor of technology programmes, applicants must have an HND in a related field of study with a minimum of second-class lower division and 1 year of relevant industrial experience.

General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) applicants must have passed in three compulsory subjects including English Language and pass in three elective subjects including business mathematics.

International Baccalaureate holders should have a minimum of grade 4 at the higher level in three subjects relevant to the programme of choice and a minimum of grade 5 at the Higher Level (HL) in Mathematics. This article will show you all the courses offered at Ho Technical University.
