Entry requirement to read Masters programmes at the University for Development Studies is a good first degree (at least a second-class lower division) from a recognized University/analogous Institution, submit an official transcript of academic record, submit, at least, two referees’ reports one of which must be from a former lecturer and pass an interview. In a situation where an applicant has a lesser degree qualification but has substantial work experience and outstanding references, the Admission Panel may make a special case to the Board of the Graduate School for admission.

To read PhD programmes at the University of Development Studies, applicants must have an M.Phil. or equivalent degree in an appropriate field of study from a recognized institution, must have scored B+ or better in Research Methods course, must have obtained a CGPA of at least 3.5 from a recognized University/analogous Institution, submit an official transcript of academic record, submit, at least, two referees’ reports one of which must be from a former lecturer, submit a proposal of 3-6 pages on the intended area of study, including references, and pass an interview. If an applicant has a lesser Masters qualification but has substantial work experience and outstanding references, the Admission Panel may make a special case to the Board of the Graduate School for admission.

UDS postgraduate fees for Medicine is about 2,973.25 GHS per year, for Medical Lab is about 2,483.35 GHS per year and for Pharmacy is about 2,680 GHS per year.
